what does av stand for ?

It started as a joke sometime around 2012 or 2013. We sat at a table with friends and were wondering about some minor past event. Since I was the only person in the room who could precisely remember the facts, my friend Luca cried out in jesting dismay : "Of course you remember every little detail, why, ARE YOU NOT THE ARHIVĂRARU ? ?"

That was some clever wordplay there, which he pulled off right on the spot. (A writer is a writer, after all.) It's a rather euphonious portmanteau between the Romanian word for "archive" and my bachelor name, so a little later I decided it would be quite suitable for my ever-archive-informed manner of working, no matter whether it's music, computer art or writing. Luca agreed to grant me the right to use his idea.

Therefore, Arhivăraru set sail in 2013, first as a journalism-centered FB page (in Romanian), and then as the present all-encompassing website. Be welcome !
